Andrew Fauth, PhD
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Andy is responsible for all operations and day-to-day activities at OsteoCentric Technologies, including R&D, QA/RA, Legal/IP, Marketing, and Operations. In his position, Andy has the unique experience of working with all areas of innovation within OsteoCentric, including 11 medical/ortho business verticals as well as 7 industrial verticals in various areas of application with UnifiMI Industrial.
Prior to his current role, Andy spent just over 8 years as Chief Technology Officer at OsteoCentric Technologies building critical technical infrastructure and key internal teams to further our pioneering technologies. As an executive, leader, and key contributor, Andy has over 25 years of medical device and R&D expertise at companies such as CoorsTek Medical (formerly MedicineLodge and IMDS), Facet Solutions, and adidas International where throughout his career, he has been involved in hundreds of orthopedic development projects spanning field such as spine, sports medicine, extremities, trauma, joint reconstruction, general surgery, and other fields.
In his prior role as Group General Manager, Andy led all R&D activities for CoorsTek Medical including product development, intellectual property management, prototyping and manufacturing, business development, surgeon partnerships, and strategic transactions. In addition, Andy has experience managing full-scale operations in contract manufacturing, emphasizing lean and continuous improvement processes and strategies.
Andy has a Bachelor’s degree from Linfield University and Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Penn State University in Kinesiology/Biomechanics with a doctoral minor in Mechanical Engineering, and he also holds dozens of U.S. and foreign patents.
