Sales Operations Manager

 

Position Description

The Sales Operations Manager will be part of the Operation/Sales Team and responsible for providing operational day-to-day support with ownership of sales reporting.

 

As a Sales Operations Manager you would be responsible for developing sales processes, calculating sales commissions, providing pricing and quotes for sales personnel and analyzing product performance and other sales metrics as directed by executive management team.  

 

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with VP and other Sales Leaders to create and establish sales reporting metrics: 

    • Sales Reports and Dashboards (Performance tracker, trend reports, territory analysis, etc.).

    • Pipeline growth, territory alignment, commission reporting and quota attainment.

    • Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the
      company’s products.

    • Optimize sales processes (recognizing trends in data) and refine operational models. 

    • Create Sales forms and templates and assist with presentations.

    • Keeper and manager of sales data set and assure its accuracy and transferability into a CRM.

  • Help coordinate new employee onboarding.

  • Support the sales team with process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics relevant to their functional areas.

  • Support Sales and Marketing teams with coordinating peer-to-peer events, co-marketing events / patient seminars.

  • Assist MarkComm with management of databases, marketing leads, etc.

  • Assist VP of Sales on budget management and T/E of field expense tracking.

  • Provide assistance with Sunshine Act reporting.

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal and operational rules and procedures by ensuring that all plans and activities on behalf of OsteoCentric are carried out with the best industry practices and the highest ethical standards.

  • Manage and track inventory utilization and expired products.

  • Keeper for Sales team digital Materials (e.g., DropBox for sales team folders, IFUs,
    Surgical Technique Guides) 

  • Provide sales team with assistance with hospital credentialing.

  • Manage pricing files and purchasing agreements (IDN/GPO) for hospital/surgery center accounts.

  • Provide assistance to sales team with VAC submissions, RFP proposals and online product submissions
    (i.e., Greenlight, Symplr,) 

  • Contribute with all departments Sales / Marketing / Professional Education activities (i.e., management of faculty agreements, setting up training events, team meetings, etc.)

  • Provide administrative support, as required.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of overall experience in the medical device/biotech industry or equivalent.

  • 3+ years in sales analyst/operations. 

  • 5+ years’ experience in the “start-up” medical device space (bonus if Sacroiliac industry).

  • High-level communications skills and relationship development at all levels of the company.

  • Knowledge of anatomy, specifically sacroiliac spine medical/surgical terminology.

  • Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve problems in a timely manner.

  • Work in a fast-paced, start-up changing environment.

  • Use a variety of computer programs and systems, at an advanced level, including: Word, Excel, Email, Internet, databases, etc.).

  • Experience with CRM integration.
